Part Time Courtesy Van Driver 2nd Shift - Part-time

T his position is responsible for providing service to customers on the lot to locate vehicles and assure they are in working condition. This is a part-time position working Tuesday-Saturday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Transport customers to vehicles and/or reconditioning shops.

• Provide battery cable jump box for service to inoperable vehicles due to a non-working battery.
• Actively communicate with fuel, tire, service and wrecker drivers to deliver customer service.
• Locate lost vehicles on the auction property.
• Work safely following Manheim safety rules and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working specific areas.
• Accurately record hours worked by following proper time clock and missed punch procedures.
• May be required to work over regular scheduled hours as business needs dictate.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:




• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous auction experience preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
