- Support operations procurement needs as required for production at our New York and Tennessee Plants.
- Work with suppliers to establish vendor managed inventory (VMI) programs as appropriate to achieve inventory and cost objectives.
- Will be responsible for the economical and efficient procurement of a variety of goods and services.
- Maintain list of suppliers, including approved supplier list. All suppliers should be recorded with their most current contact information and payment terms.
- Facilitate quoting of materials and competitive bidding processes.
- Manages purchase orders, blanket agreements, and all transactions.
- Takes appropriate action in resolving discrepancies in order quantity, price and seeks corrective action on late deliveries.
