Principal Responsibilities and Key Activities:

 

Crew Members take an active role in the appearance and satisfaction of each guest. Crew members key responsibilities include:

  • Providing food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high quality standards
  • Holding the Guest as their most important priority at all times
  • Staying focused on the Guest and accomplishes all work assignments with excellence
  • Understanding the importance of teamwork and treats all team members with respect
  • Being enthusiastic and enjoy working in a fun environment
  • Actively participating in meeting all cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards

    Shift leaders take an active role in the total management of a Jersey Mike’s store / operation. In conjunction with the General Manager (GM), the shift leader shares responsibility for:

  • Helping to lead operational excellence and the guest experience
  • Providing coaching to team members to improve performance
  • Ensuring the shift is appropriately deployed to exceed hospitality and guest standards
  • Helping to control Cost of Sales through inventory management, tracking, effective ordering, and control of waste and loss each shift
  • Leading and modeling cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards
