  • POSITION PURPOSE -
    The DC System Coordinator ensures the DC has required, functioning hardware to allow associates to work efficiently and meet production and customer goals. This includes the installation, operation, and maintenance of on-site hardware such as printers, RF guns, gladiators, phones, radios, servers, RIF devices, network connecting/cabling and other related equipment in a complex, automated distribution center. Identifies issues and needs - corrects or elevates to leadership. Responds to associate's hardware needs - coaches and trains on effective hardware usage.

  • MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
    20% Ensures DC has sufficient, well functioning hardware to meet all production / customer goals

    20% Applies knowledge of systems and maintenance to ensure all hardware and related equipment is fully functioning with nominal down time; may run required reports and provide routine data base administration

    15% Completes preventative maintenance and repairs on system hardware; performs minor repairs; elevates complex repairs as appropriate; provides recommendation on repair/replace decisions

    15% Partners with IT, national vendors, and designated local service technicians to help ensure all hardware and related equipment is functioning well and to avoid any down time

    15% Controls inventory and maintains appropriate safe guards of equipment;

    15% Provides training on effective use of hardware; may train new associates

  • NATURE AND SCOPE -
    Position reports to the Maintenance Manager

    Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable


    Strong DC related hardware ex
  • perience; Ability to effectively communicate to leaders and IT partners; Ability to support associates and effectively coach/train on effective hardware usage.

  • EDUCATION REQUIRED -
    The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 02

  • CERPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
    Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.


  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
    Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

    Knowledge of DC operations

    Ability to work required shifts / hours to meet production/customer goals

    Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
