Position Summary

The Director Product Management and Transformation is responsible for leading the effort in rebuilding the platform in coordination with IT, key users and clients. This position focuses on the commercialization of the platform which includes: overall strategy, Profit & Loss management, distribution channels, pricing and product roadmap development. This role is also responsible for all data partner relations (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) to include: contracts, licensing, SLAs and future enhancements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the effort to rebuild the platform in coordination with IT, key users and clients (already in progress)
  • Focus on commercialization of the platform, to include: overall strategy, P&L management, distribution channels, pricing, and product roadmap development.
  • Responsible for all data partner relationships (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, etc.) to include: contracts, licensing, SLAs and future enhancements
  • Responsible for ensuring internal compliance, monitoring and costing of data licenses with Advantage’s client teams
  • Own and continue to develop Ai2’s client value capture initiative known as RAVE
  • Develop metrics within Ai2 to foster a more accountable culture in areas such as associate engagement, turnover, etc.
  • Works on other transformation projects as needed to support the Ai2 SVP
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement; Works closely with BI and Client Team leadership to inspect BI delivery against client and customer objectives and prioritize opportunities for process improvement
  • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key leaders

Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports

May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job

Travel up to 20 %

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree o r equivalent experience



(Preferred): Master's Degree o r equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
  • Six Sigma/LEAN accreditation.
  • Previous sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business environment.
  • Information and/or CPG industry knowledge a plus

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
