Job Summary: Provide great Guest Service by educating our Guests about our animals. Acting as a host for our swim program and animal tours. It is a great start for those holding an interest in the animal field (Note: This position does not include hands on work with Park animals).
Job Duties: Facilitate programs such as Dolphin Discovery, Discovery Field Trips, Wildlife Discovery and Sharks in the Dark programs. Upkeep of locker room facilities, including bathrooms, wetsuits, booties, laundry, and classroom. Act as a host to our Guests, greeting and checking them in providing the Six Flags Service Mantra, especially the safety of our guests and animals. Teach classroom portion of our Dolphin Discovery program. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Must enjoy working with adults and children and be a positive role model for all Guests. Must be able to handle possible stressful situations and exhibit good problem solving skills, be flexible, organized, creative, and outgoing. Studies in biology and/or education preferred. Must have excellent public speaking skills, in front of large groups. Be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Capable of working proactively in a team and independently. Be able to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to work around animals, salt water, in an indoor and outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
