Janitor

We have a full-time opening for a Janitor.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

• Must have 1 or more years experience.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required.

G&K has an immediate need for a Janitor for our Apartment community. 





- Clean and tidy the property including all janitorial/ grounds keeper duties

- Cleaning of all interior hallways, common areas and some exterior of the property

- Perform scheduled daily janitorial/ grounds keeper tasks and additional cleaning jobs as necessary

- Routinely shampoo common area carpets and buff floors

- Ability to work well with staff, visitors and residents

- Self-motivated, efficient and able to adapt to a variety of cleaning situations as they arise

- Take pride in clean areas





Requirements

Minimum one year necessary for a similar type of janitorial experience  

Must have basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and how to clean different areas 

Must have a high school education or equivalent thereof 

Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal English 

Must be organized, dependable cooperative, and possess good standards of cleanliness and order
