Carol Stream, IL company seeks Forging Operator.
2nd Shift, Monday thru Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM
$15.40/hr.
Duties include:
Operates and adjusts forge press according to guidelines and in a safe manner
Reads job instructions to produce specified valves including basic mathematical calculations
Performs set ups and light maintenance and trouble shooting of forge press equipment
Changes punches and dyes as required
Accurately, completes production documentation (first piece approvals, routing tags, scrap tickets, etc)
Utilizes specified gauges to insure proper product tolerances
Where required performs SPC on specified dimensions
Follows and maintains the required 5S and lean principals of working area
Requirements include:
High School Diploma or Equivalent from an accredited institution
3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Forging Press Operator
Ability to work overtime
A strong focus on safety
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
Ability to pro actively work with other team members
