As a Senior Reporting Analyst - Medicaid, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze utilization, claim, and health program data. Review, Analyze, trend and forecast complex data
Build reports to show the health utilization, disease prevalence, and the programs used to improve population health
Perform ETL jobs, move data between databases then document and send or publish to client
Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Consult and document business requirements to support client reporting needs
Prioritize work effort with clients to Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities
Build and maintain strong partnership / relationships with customers
Use your creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes and create new ones to meet client demand
Data and reporting analyst with responsibility for operational reporting for state Medicaid contract
Reporting includes establishment and running of ongoing reports as well as assistance with ad hoc reporting requests and process improvement projects

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or 6 total years of equivalent work experience

3 years of experience in business / finance analysis

1 year of experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting

1 year of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes

Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Intermediate level of proficiency communicating analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business

Advanced level of proficiency problem solving multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data

Intermediate level of proficiency with relational databases and database structures
Preferred Qualifications:


Master’s Degree

Consulting experience X12 file ETL familiarity

Medicaid reporting experience

ETL software and process experience

Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting data
