Time Warner Cable has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Analyst
within our Commercial Sales Operations organization. This position will be located in Coppell, TX. Below
please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary

The Sales Analyst is responsible for conducting data mining, audit, and analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations to sales leadership in support of corporate and departmental objectives. Engages with all levels of sales leadership to support their data and analytical needs.

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for identifying and executing best practices in sales process, sales analysis, and metrics leveraging Salesforce.com and other data sources. This will include auditing, collecting, and analyzing sales data. The position will also be responsible for developing models and tools for reporting purposes and improve on existing tools in use.

A strong focus on accuracy and timeliness is critical. Maintaining data integrity and a consistent systematic logical approach to data gathering and analysis is required. A thorough understanding of the business; business and sales strategy; functional area goals and objectives is very important.

Essential Job Functions

Understand and support business needs by delivering sales management with decision oriented information.
Owns overall accountability for the audit and metrics related to daily sales board.
Compile monthly (and ad hoc) analysis for sales leadership inclusive of providing insights and recommendations based around key operational data.
Develop tools used by Sales Management to measure performance of the Sales Team
Initiate and manage various sales audit projects.
Design and produce automated reporting tools in order to streamline reporting and improve reporting timelines.
Build strong inter-departmental relationships and lead cross functional teams to support the successful creation and deployment of sales and marketing initiatives.
Aggregate internal data sources, create actionable analysis, and infuse operational and sales teams with actionable information.
Maintain data and report integrity and a consistent systematic logical approach to data gathering, analysis and reporting.
Gather, analyze, interpret and report sales and operational data.
Assist in setting reporting best practices, policies, objectives and strategies to scale sales data reporting and determining gaps in reporting and develop proposals to rectify these.
Other ad hoc sales data relates tasks will be assigned as required by the business.

Required Experience
Strong analytical skills –experienced in analyzing sales data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Expertise with data mining, data modeling, business and statistical analysis.
Strong relationship building, cross functional influence and project leadership skills.
Expertise in proactively spotting and communicating data trends or anomalies which would provide sales leadership with the information needed to improve sales effectiveness.
Must have excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills with the proven ability to prepare and present effective reports and presentations to senior management.
Intermediate and proven Excel and Access skills.
Experience with ICOMS/CSG is a plus.
Experience partnering with leaders in other functional areas to drive change and improvement.
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, work independently through obstacles, work on multiple projects and prioritize as required.
Solutions oriented and a creative thinker.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance or another applicable subject area. MBA a plus.
3+ years of practical and/or analytical experience supporting business sales environment

Travel Requirements

Travel (5%) may be required
This position reports to the Sr. Manager Sales Analytics.
