Host/ToGo Specialist

We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Host/ToGo Specialist.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Greets, engages and seats all Guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a Famous first impression. Assists in maintaining the overall Guest flow of the restaurant. As Guests are departing, inquire about their experience, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back. Transacts food and drink orders at POS in person and by phone and suggestively sells drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts in an outgoing, friendly and timely manner so as to “WOW” our Guests. Responsible for accurate cash handling. Packs TOGO and catering orders. Performs side duties including, but not limited to, answering the phone, opening doors, cleaning work stations, expediting orders and running food. Stocks TOGO area and packages orders. Follows TOGO packaging absolutes. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilites include:

• Greet and seat the guests in a timely and controlled manner.
• Provide assistance to servers when needed.
• Manage the Wait List, quoting accurate times
• Complete assigned cleaning and other duties
• Maintain tables per floor plan
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain a working knowledge of menu.
• Check and assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of restrooms every 30 mins.
• Follow instructions of Manager on Duty or designated supervisor.
• Efficient time management.
• Be at work on time for scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a professional, friendly attitude with employees, guests and other visitors. TEAMWORK is essential.
• Follow Safety and Sanitation procedures.
• Follow and comply with Famous Dave’s Standards of Service (including, but not limited to; speed, accuracy, productivity and suggestive selling of promotional items..)
