Server

We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Server.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Serves and suggestively sells drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts in an outgoing, friendly and timely manner so as to “WOW” our Guests. Completes “Sauce Tours” with every table every time ensuring a positive Guest experience. Performs side duties including, but not limited to, answering the phone, bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning work stations, rolling silverware, expediting orders and running food. Responsible for accurate cash handling. Follows steps of service and front of house absolutes. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
• Carrying food and drinks to all areas of the restaurant through the entire shift.
• Bussing tables and providing assistance or refills of beverages to our guests as needed.
• Checking and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 mins.
• Understanding and using the point of sale system to clock in/out and process/input orders.
• Restocking service items as needed
• Emptying trash cans when needed
• Completing assigned cleaning as assigned.
• Follow instructions of Manager on Duty or designated supervisor.
• Efficient time management.
• Be at work on time for scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a professional, friendly attitude with employees, guests and other visitors. TEAMWORK is essential.
• Follow Safety and Sanitation procedures.
• Follow and comply with Famous Dave’s Standards of Service (including, but not limited to; speed, accuracy, productivity and suggestive selling of promotional items..)
