2nd Shift PLC Technician

Aerotek is currently accepting applications for a PLC Technician opportunity in the Mahanoy City area. Please call in or apply online to be considered for this position. Below is a list of qualifications and responsibilities for the position.

PLC Technician

-Associates in any electrical or electronics engineering or related experience

-Daily maintenance of production equipment electrically

-Maintain PLC's, Servo motors and drives, HMI's, robotic assembly equipment etc.

-Evaluate and optimize Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities

-Perform high level trouble shooting pertaining but not limited to: PLC, AC drives, DC drives, pneumatics, servomotors and Robotics

-Electro-Mechanical knowledge along with experience applying this knowledge to process/equipment design and troubleshooting

-Mechanical, machine tool, and equipment repair skills is a plus

-Knowledge handling electrical PLC's and various control systems within a manufacturing environment

-Familiarity with EH&S, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment

-Understand safe work practices and has experience in lockout, tag out, electrical safety, etc.

-Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus

-Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices

-Experience with 3 phase 480 voltage AC and DC

-Good communication skills and will be a lead as well
