Commercial Herbicide Applicator / Applicator Trainee

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the training of new employees to bring them up to speed quickly
• Follow each expectation that is found within the Weed Control Inc. Policy Manual to maintain the standard operating procedure and create consistency among all employees
• Abide to the application practices that are within the Virginia Core Manual to provide a professional and legal service
• Perform the work that is asked of them to meet the expectations of the client
• Spray in accordance with local, state, federal, and environmental laws to prevent any unnecessary legal action from being takin
• Educate property owners and clients on the work being conducted to alleviate any concerns they may have
• Document all herbicide application activity to create a reference of the work that was completed
• Maintain equipment and notify a shop foreman of any needed repairs so equipment is repaired in a timely manner

Work Experience and Skills:

There is no prior experience necessary. This is an entry level position.

• Must be able to lift and move 50lbs
• Must be able to walk long distances
