Job Description:
Sears Holding Company, the Number 1 reseller of fitness products in the USA, is expanding into the specialty fitness market. Sears is committed to becoming the leader in specialty fitness by creating strategic relations with key brands, reconfiguring stores, and utilizing its marketing and services advantages. As part of this overall growth initiative, Sears is seeking passionate, customer centric sales leaders to fill the position of Specialty Fitness Store Lead. A background in both retail and fitness environments is a must. This position will assist the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager with coaching, training, scheduling and performance management of its fitness department and its associates.
Qualifications:
* Retail experience, preferably in high end sales
* 2-3 years of management experience
* Strong knowledge of fitness industry, products and trends
* Ability to demonstrate product features/benefits and communicate clearly to customers
* Ability to train, lead and develop a team
* Strong organizational skills
* Computer literacy a must; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Education/Training:
* High School graduate; College degree preferred
* Personal Trainer Certification preferred
