Burlington Stores, Inc. has an opening for an IT audit senior or manager to lead in executing core information technology audits, cyber security reviews, other emerging technology reviews and lead the annual IT Sarbanes- Oxley compliance. The position will also be responsible for developing the department’s data analytics and visualization strategy. This will be a highly visible role within the organization and will require the candidate to develop relationships and coordinate closely with IT management in order to successfully execute day to day responsibilities.

Execution:

- Lead the execution of Internal Audits including:

o Core Information Technology Audits

o Cyber Security Reviews

o Other Emerging Technology Reviews

o System Implementation Reviews

- Lead the execution of Internal Controls (Sarbanes Oxley) Compliance

o Performance of internal controls testing

o Overseeing the Internal Controls Project Management Office (PMO)

- Support of Management Reporting

o Preparation of status reports provided to Management

o Preparation of Audit Committee reports

Knowledge:

- Championing Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, and Governance concepts throughout the business

- Lead in evaluating, implementing and use of tools to enhance process effectiveness.

Education and Qualifications: (List all required knowledge, skills and abilities for this position)



Education:

- Bachelor or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field


Required Qualifications:


- Strong IT risk management experience, including: performing assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks and prioritizing risk

- Advanced knowledge of and experience with IT internal auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley (section 404 and related testing requirements) is required

- Knowledge and experience managing emerging risks related to cybersecurity

- Understanding of COBIT, general accounting, SOX, COSO, and leading cyber security frameworks

- Ability to understand and document processes and internal controls, including flow charting; to assess the design of these processes and controls; and to identify risks and work with management to identify resolutions to mitigate risks

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal); ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

- Sound reasoning, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent organization skills; ability to work on multiple projects, work under pressure and time constraints

- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel; Experience with Visio and MS Project

- High ethical standards and values; ability to maintain confidentiality

Desired Qualifications:

- CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA or other related certification is preferred

- Ability to utilize computer assisted auditing techniques and software to conduct data extraction and analysis

- Big 4 experience is a plus
