Monitors environment health and the facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity. This function also includes those who operate and monitor computer and peripheral equipment. Coordinates the efforts of all functions to complete scheduled jobs in a timely manner. Documents all problems (hardware, application, facility, etc.) and takes corrective action as required. Interfaces with other departments as required.Position moves between Chaska, Plymouth, and Elk River, MN facilities to work onsite. Shift hours are Thurs-Sat 630p - 7a CST and every third Wed. Ideal candidate will be primarily located in Chaska, MN.Primary Responsibilities:

Monitoring of multiple distributed or mainframe computing environments.
Ability to work within established processes & procedures; deviation from process is undesirable.
Amend recognition, ticket creation/assignment/escalation; ticket follow-up & resolution.
Processing of work intake requests via schedules or on request.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
Must be able to work Thurs - Sat 6:30 pm - 7:00 am CST and every third Wednesday from 6:30 pm -7:00 am CST
Previous experience with AS400, UNIX or MVS Mainframe
US Citizenship 
Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 NAC form SF86.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with scheduling and ticketing systems
2+ years of experience with AS400, UNIX or MVS Mainframe
As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group’s contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf, (the National Agency Check or “NAC”).  Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role.  NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense.  Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.  Failure to obtain final NAC approval will result in termination from this role.
