Primary Responsibilities:

Provide claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of underwriting, Actuarial and utilization analyses
Identify potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies
Create and update automated processes
Analyze reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups
Produce and review reports specific to risk adjustments for various markets

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
At least an intermediate level of proficiency with MS Access
Ability to write SQL queries
Intermediate level of proficiency in performing data analytics
Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of health care experience
Previous experience with Avaya Proactive Contact 5.1 auto dialer software
Experience creating Crystal reports
Experience with Oracle/Sybase relational databases
