This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm)The Provider Installation Specialist is responsible for the installation and administration of assigned contracts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and provider education materials. Provider Installation Specialists are also responsible for overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing using various databases. Responsibilities may also include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards.
 
This individual will have the additional responsibility to review, audit, monitor and report quality data for the production staff. The role will coach others on loading, policy and process and quality improvement. The individual acts as a SME for the team.
 
Note: While Shelton, CT is the ideal location, you will still be considered if you are a current UHG telecommuter in another location. In this role you will be expected to:- Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise- Investigate non-standard requests and problems- Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines- Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
-Collaborate with others to identify training and/or process gaps
-Collaborate with others to enhance current processes

Requirements

Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
- 2+ years of experience with contract loading
- Previous experienc with NDB and PIMS
- At least an intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel
 
Assets:
- 2+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience, specifically in credentialing providers, working in provider relations, medical billing, claim or quality management
-Previous experience with TRICARE-Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including telephone etiquette
-Demonstrated experience tracking and reporting on production results
-Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring others to improve production, quality-Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi-staff members within the department
-Undergraduate degree
