Job Responsibilities:

Guest Service

Skills/Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
  • Preferred to have food service experience
  • Must possess basic math skills

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to perform the basic functions of the job

  • Must be able to work shifts up to 8hrs a day
  • Must have full use of both hands (lifting, carrying, grasping, pushing, pulling)
  • Must be able to firmly grasp utensils to include but not limited to knives, mops, brooms, etc.
  • Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes (hot and cold) when working in walk-in and around ovens and sinks
  • Standing, bending and walking for extended periods of time on hard surface
  • Must be able to bend and stoop to lift and move boxes, sweep and mop
  • Must be able to lift over head up to 15lbs
  • Lifting up 15 lbs frequently, 25lbs occasionally

Responsibilities by Position

All Positions

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile as they arrive
  • Have menu knowledge of all wiches
  • Explain the Which Wich ordering system
  • Assist guests with Wich selection
  • Clean and wipe tables and trays
  • Keep beverage stations stocked
  • Refill beverage machine with ice
  • Sweep dining room as needed
  • Maintain dining room cleanliness, including trashcans
  • Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and chemicals
  • Restock paper towels, drink lids, straws, etc. in dining area
  • Complete opening and closing procedures
  • Perform any other duties as required

Host/Hostess

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome as they arrive
  • Explain the Which Wich ordering system
  • Assist guests with Wich selection
  • Maintain clean dining area
  • Assist guest with drink refills
  • Stock coolers and merchandisers
  • Stock chips
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe work environment
  • Properly clean and sanitize all dining room equipment according to company specifications
  • Empty trash cans
  • Employ the “clean as you go” method to avoid accidents and to maintain standards
  • Demonstrate required safety, production, and sanitation standards at all times

Cashier

  • Greet guests with a warm smile as they enter and address guest by name
  • Use clear verbal communication
  • Maintain a clean and properly stocked phone-in area and cashier station
  • Quickly and accurately ring orders
  • Suggest additional items that would complement a guest’s order (upsell)
  • Coordinate phone-in and catering orders
  • Practice proper cash-handling procedures
  • Stock coolers and merchandisers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe work environment
  • Properly clean and sanitize all equipment according to company specifications
  • Employ the “clean as you go” method to avoid accidents and to maintain standards

P1, P2, P3 & P4

Prep/Re-stock/Clean Up

  • Complete opening and closing procedures
  • Prep, clean and cut vegetables for station
  • Stock back-up dressings
  • Prep all protein pars according to the Recipe Manual.
  • Weigh, pan, and date label all products
  • Maintain product standards
  • Perform administrative duties (complete prep sheet, monitor and record waste onto Daily Waste Chart)
  • Restock station supplies as needed, including reach-in.
  • Assist in receiving, verifying, and rotating product deliveries (FIFO)
  • Use recipes and production tools
  • Assist team members as needed

On the Line

  • Properly operate and maintain all equipment in assigned work area according to company specifications
  • Stock sandwich station with all condiments, bread and cheeses
  • Use sandwich bag
  • Make all sandwiches fresh to order
  • Safely prepare and serve all food according to proper food safety standards
  • Assemble order using proper portion control
  • Prepare sandwiches and salads according to recipe and guest’s specifications
  • Complete order to spec
  • Ensure order is correct and sides/accompaniments are included
  • Call out sandwich order by using the guest name
  • Bid guest a fond farewell
  • Assist team members as needed

Safety and Sanitation

  • Maintain a clean and sanitized area.
  • Clean as you go
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes to sanitation standard
  • Air-dry pots, pans, and utensils and return to proper storage location
  • Frequently check sanitizing PPM throughout shift, and change when out-of-standard
  • Move boxes and equipment to sweep/mop facility, including walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
  • Daily clean and organize walk-in cooler.
  • Daily clean and sanitize all trash barrels.
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Perform any other duties as required
