Job Description & Qualifications:

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, developing and executing of a comprehensive Asset Protection Program for multiple lines of business across HDS. Programs are tailored based on unique business needs and include opportunities to define success across each business unit in theft and fraud / operational loss prevention. Drive a program to protect the assets of the business. Design and execute methodologies to deliver positive results. Foster partnerships within each business unit leadership, associated departments within the business as well as divisional leaders to deliver on results. Drive profit improvement through shrinkage improvement in each business.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Develops and executes a Asset Protection Program across several businesses.
  • Plans, develops and executes short- and long-term strategy to protect the company assets to include physical security critical infrastructure, operational excellence and loss elimination.
  • Coordinates and maintains partnerships with all departments within businesses to positively impact asset protection metrics. Develops high quality training as required to support loss elimination.
  • Evaluates operational processes for areas of opportunity, shrink elimination, and develops effective means to mitigate losses.
  • Manages to asset protection and security goals, performance expectations and standards.
  • Identifies theft and fraud activity within businesses and partners with management to resolve any in-business cases.
  • Attracts, recruits and hires high-performance diverse associates into the organization.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.
  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
  • Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years regional or similar leadership experience in a Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Role.
  • Proven track record of developing a Asset Protection, Loss Prevention or Security organization in a multi-unit environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of Inventory Management in Diversified Industry Platform.
