JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking a Test Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Wycliffe, OH with our partner, one of the world's leading energy suppliers and innovators in energy infrastructure development. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment for a global industry leader.

Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of appropriate tests to ensure compliance with product requirements and generally accepted standards
  • Provide support for development efforts while ensuring protection of the test environment, including physical facility and staff
  • Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, develop and perform a variety of Symphony Plus product test plans requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard software/test engineering principles and practices
  • Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction
  • Analyze product requirements, develop detailed test plans, and execute the test plans to verify that the specified product features perform properly
  • Validate that the planned requirements have been met by the product
  • Assist in isolating, investigating, resolving, and validating any problems discovered during the product test cycle with the assistance of a product development engineer
  • Test system assembly, configuration, and maintenance of the test lab is required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • This is a 12+ month contract position
  • Experience in process control system configuration and operation desired
  • Experience in process control system configuration and operation. Knowledge of the Symphony Plus (Harmony, Infi90) Control System and its configuration and operation
  • Knowledge of the Symphony Plus (Harmony, Infi90) Control System and its configuration and operation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of other control systems may also be helpful.
