Kids SmART, Inc has immediate openings for Program Director and Program Leader in a few of our fourteen School Aged Before and After School Programs, and summer camps starting May 30. If you love children, and love making a difference in their lives, then THIS is the job for you!! Programs are located in Lakewood and Denver areas.

Program Director position entails developing and maintaining a safe and fun environment for kids both before and after school.

Other duties include:

  • planning and implementing structured and safe program activities;
  • developing and maintaining positive relationships with community and families;
  • supervising Program Leaders;
  • Billing and collecting tuition from parents;
  • tracking government subsidies and parent card swiping;
  • and having fun with kids!

Hours average around 30-35hrs/week. This is a split shift, Monday thru Friday position with additional flexible hours budgeted for administrative duties and weekly Thursday workshops/meetings. Summer Camp hours vary but are also more flexible. 

  • Before School hours begin at 6:30a and go until 8/8:15a.
  • After School hours run from 2/2:30p until 6p.

Requirements: 

  • must be at least 21yrs old (18yrs old for Program Leaders)
  • either 3yrs full-time experience working with school-aged children or a bachelors degree in human services field. 

(If you are not quite qualified to be a director, but are at least 18 and have at least 3mths experience, please note that you would like to apply to be a Program Lead)
