CAREGiver for Special Needs - Full-time / Part-time

We offer a $150 sign on bonus. Bonus is paid over a 3-week period ($50/week). To be eligible a CAREGiver must successfully complete orientation and work a minimum of 20hr/week.

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate CAREGiver experienced with caring for special needs individuals.  Become part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Assistance with feeding
• Mentally Disabled Care

Preferred experience:

• CNA, LVN, MA or DSP license
• Has worked and desires to work with a special needs individual

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Be professional, compassionate, and patient
• Ability to treat and care for disabled individuals and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive

Different shifts available (days and evenings).  Weekdays and weekends.  Start immediately!
