Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

Tasks for everyone (responsibilities whether you are fulltime or part time):

Services:

  • Serving on register when we get busy
  • Serving customers at Kitchen register
  • Advising customers about products on the sales floor
  • Preparing and maintaining samples

Availability:

  • Filling and cleaning Kitchen shelves and displays
  • Facing and tidying
  • Working the delivery and overstock
  • Producing Kitchen items and working to a production plan
  • Organizing the backroom (FIFO)
  • Shop-backs

Cleaning:

  • Floor mopping, sweeping & cleaning
  • Cleaning equipment / dish washing
  • Cleaning fixtures, shelves, sampling equipment
  • Emptying trash cans

Staying safe & legal:

  • Quality checks
  • Date code rotation
  • Completing logs - date coding, temp logs, cleaning logs etc.
  • Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) maintenance
  • Item markdowns
  • Re-purposing

Wanna b.....a full timer? (additional full time responsibilities)

  • Service:
    • Serving as a SCO host when we get busy
  • Availability:
    • Ordering product and supplies for the department
    • Receiving the delivery onto the system
    • Scanning waste, donations and store samples
    • Transferring items between departments
    • Production Planning
    • Supporting period inventory counts

 

NOTE: Full timers work across all areas of bakery but may be asked to work back to back hours with their lead (eg 2 late shifts, 3 early shifts per week)
