ONE OF THE TOP 3 CREDIT UNIONS IN THE COUNTRY IS LOOKING FOR MULTIPLE LOAN PROCESSORS!
Types of Loans they process are Fannie Mae, Internal, and VA loans (VA is a plus). They expect them to have a 30-35 Loan Pipeline and close 15-20 a month (good if someone with more lenders closed 10-15 a month). They are Mortgage Loans, not Consumer loans. They must process the files within 30-45 days, as the purchase closing dates are extremely important. The types of loans they are doing are purchases and Refinances.
They will be doing some loan consulting, which means they are making calls to the members and asking them questions to follow up with them to confirm that they are getting the type of loan at the rate they are expecting to avoid any hiccups down the road. This helps them to register the loans and mark the file off as consulted.
Their Process looks like the following:
-Contact Member every 3 days to give them an update
-Start processing documents
-Log the rates for the loan as they go along
-Documentation (they use Unify and Nautilus as their systems, newest system they are using is TRID, but will also use Word and Excel)
-Get every document into Electronic database to go paperless
-Send loan to Underwriter
-Take to Closing when underwriter is done
Be able to answer the follow questions:
What is Debt to income ratio?
How do you calculate Loan to Value ratio?
How do you process a loan?
What is the difference between a conventional loan and a VA loan?
AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF LOAN PROCESSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Salary: $15-$25/hr depending on experience
