Part Time Bilingual Field Locator - 19250

On behalf of Decision Information Resources, Headway is seeking Part –Time Bilingual Field Locators to locate unresponsive study participants for the purpose of having them complete an online survey.  This is a part-time position requiring 15 – 30 hours a week, including evening and weekends and at least 1 Sunday a month.  Pay for this position will be $17 per hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Locating unresponsive study participants by visiting their last known addresses, talking to their neighbors, and using other locating techniques
• Encouraging participants to complete an online survey
• Maintaining accurate records, frequent communication with supervisors, and adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Variable Schedule: Must be available to work predominantly afternoon, evenings, weekend hours and some mornings
• Background Check: Complete and pass a Criminal Background Check
• Technology: Comfortable with technology in order to input data daily using computer systems
• Work Environment: Willing to work in low-income and/or rural neighborhoods and comfortable with people from many different backgrounds 
• Problem Solving Skills: Ability to come up with creative approaches in order to locate participants
• Personality: Friendly, approachable, confident, self-motivated
• Languages: Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English
• Proven experience with Field Interviewing, Field Data Collection, Field Tracing, Field Tracking, Field Locating, or Canvassing

HOURS & PAY

• 15 - 30 hours/week through December 2016
• Afternoon, evening and weekend hours are required
• Pay for this position will be $17/ hour

LOCATION

• Work will take place in and around the Manhattan with some work requiring you to go to other Boroughs.
