We are in search of technician to join us in our growing our Service Technician team here in the Portland market.  The Service Technician will have the skills and be responsible for the following duties:
 

Position Responsibilities

  • Experience with restaurant equipment repair, coffee/espresso equipment experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical readings and experience with a multimeter and common hand tools.
  • Preferred equipment experience with La Marzocco, BUNN, Fetco, Turbo-Chef Mastrena, Verismo, Grindmaster, Ditting, Wilbur Curtis, and others.
  • The ability to be flexible and work a set schedule including weekends.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years Recent Experience in a Service Technician role.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage Services Industry is ideal and highly preferable.
  • Good Mechanical Aptitude, experience with Plumbing or Electrical work highly preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Ability to be a team player but also work independently with a very strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while maintaining an outgoing and success driven personality.
  • Occasional lifting of products or equipment (with assistance) weighing up to 100lbs to a 40-inch-high counter.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, sitting and other movements as required to access the area where equipment is to be installed.
  • Occasional repetitive hand and arm movements as required to repair, install or otherwise service the equipment.
  • Occasional loading and unloading of equipment into trucks and vans, at times to include use of a wheeled hand truck.
  • Occasional periods of pro-longed sitting while driving to and from customer site locations.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and drive long distances as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
