PrideStaff's Melville New York office is currently seeking an Account Manager to handle Suffolk County territory.

Main Function: Generate sales to contribute to the branch's overall revenue, gross profit and net profit.

What is the basic purpose of the job?
  • To generate temporary service sales by developing new client relationships.
  • To meet predefined goals in the areas of sales, gross margin and profit.
  • To introduce and foster a relationship with the new client order placer and the inside team.
  • To maintain relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high potential accounts.
  • Critical skills, experience and personality traits needed for the job.
  • Develop new client sales
  • Develop leads for temporary usage.
  • Qualify leads. ID potential targets.
  • Develop Sales Plans for each marketing opportunity.
  • Enter targets through coach development.
  • Develop relationships with all levels of buyers at target companies.
  • Sales process: identification and focus on targets business problems leading to the solutions we provide.
  • Make calls to: develop leads, qualify targets, conduct research, set visits and follow up.
  • Visits to include lead to a next step in the marketing process.
  • Visits conducted to include: client profile, action plan development, coach development, quality assessment, continuous improvement, assignment development, project management, service team intro, tour of our facilities, performance review and planning.
  • As a part of the team, assist in filling jobs and interviewing when needed.
