Interested in becoming a Content Management System Manager? Aaron's is seeking an experienced CMS Manager to accelerate the growth of our omni-channel presence across a wide range of web properties. The role will report to the Director of Software Development, and will be responsible for delivering high quality web experiences for our customers in a Lean/Agile development environment. This will include coding using a variety of programming languages, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert of the system. The CMS Manager will also be expected to provide technical leadership, architectural support, overall solution design support, and content management/SEO best practices.

Job Duties

· Create, develop and manage content for Aaron's web presence (requires working with content management software).

· Manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

· Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.

· Partner with the Marketing team to develop and maintain the master content calendar for all web properties.

· Copyedit and proofread all web content.

· Partner with a multidisciplinary set of stakeholders, contractors, and team members to design and develop software solutions.

· Partner with the cross-departmental team and business users to understand requirements, write functional and technical specifications.

· Develop using a variety of programming languages (JavaScript and C#/.NET preferred).

Position Requirements

· 5-7 years of experience as a CMS Developer.

· College or University degree in Technical Writing, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related discipline.

· Experience working closely with the Marketing team and design/develop templates and other components based on the Marketing team's needs.

· Shows demonstrated knowledge of C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, HTML, and JavaScript.

· Ability to work with jQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap and other new JavaScript languages.

· Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas: AJAX, JQuery, Webforms or MVC, VSTS, SDLC, large CMS platforms (Umbraco, Sitecore, or similar), PHP, CSS, HTML5, and XML/XSL.

· Experience in onsite SEO structures and best practices along with a general understanding of offsite SEO best practices.

· Web analytics, digital marketing best practices, and campaign management is a plus.
