As a Lead Developer you will work with a team of developers and other technical and non-technical resources through the Software Development Life Cycle. You will be involved in software design, development, and maintenance of web and desktop applications at Monarch Healthcare.  You will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions using organizational data warehouse, data marts, and operational data stores. You will design, run and maintain a library of applications and custom integration processes with third party vendors and partners in a transactional based processing environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Working on medium to large projects in the full object oriented software development lifecycle
Architecture, design, documentation, development, deployment, and unit testing for all applications at Monarch HealthCare
Participate in every aspect of software development including documentation, testing, and deployment. Implement short and long term strategies for product and team development
Research new technologies and identify plans for applying as solutions to business problems or enhancements as necessary.  Working on multiple software development projects while successfully prioritizing and completing on schedule
Follow industry, company, and department standard best practices for software engineering
Estimate task durations and log project hours
Ensure application systems security and protect against unlawful data disclosure
Analyze system design and performance
Interact with operations for planning and support
Recommend areas for improvement in both processes and systems
Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, project managers, and stakeholders

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Math, Engineering or other related field
2+ years as a technical/team lead
10 - 12 years of programming and software development experience
5+ years of hands on experience with DBMS, specifically MS SQL Server, database design, and SQL programming
Strong in SOA principles design and architecture and ASP.NET MVC
Must be proficient with OOP, ASP.Net, C#, HTML, XML, and component based SDLC
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service
Familiar with SDLC and tools such as source control (TFS)
Preferred Qualifications:

Agile/Scrum/iterative and continuous delivery principles
Visio experience
Programming and development in Healthcare industry
Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills
