Electrical Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Regional engineering firm is currently looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with 3+ years of experience. Individuals primary focus will be design with some site visits to analyze facilitie(s).

Primary Design Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Visiting project sites to analyze existing conditions, and/or oversee construction.
- Understanding the NEC, IEEE, and other related standards.
- Sizing and routing conduit, cable, cable trays, circuit breakers, and low and medium voltage systems (e.g., power distribution, heat tracing, lighting, fire alarm, and phone / data / other special systems).
- Specifying and selecting electrical equipment.
- Ensuring that all documents and designs meet Quality Program criteria.
- Performing lighting design tasks, including calculations, fixture layouts, specification, and scheduling of light fixtures.
- Designing lighting systems to comply with required local, state, and nationally adopted energy codes.

Minimum Requirements:

- 5+ Years of Electrical Design Experience

- Revit Experience Required with AutoCad
