A local Jacksonville company is in search for a Facilities Engineer that will be responsible for overseeing million dollar projects. This candidate will be in charge of setting up the projects and managing them to completion.
Duties include:
- Perform a variety of facilities engineering assignments utilizing a wide range of engineering principles relating to the planning, design, construction and startup of new or expanded facilities.
- Advance technical level involving planning development and design of equipment, processes, and facilities
- Good ability to work with sub-contractors, safety - minded; can keep up with the schedule.... layout timeline, deliverables and schedule.
- Review progress and evaluates results of multiple projects across various disciplines.
- Take a lead role in major facilities projects and coordinates team efforts ensuring the completed facilities meet company specifications, schedules and budgets
- Coordinates the work of outside design engineers and construction contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree - Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline
- 5-10 years of facilities engineering experience in design, planning, install, and construction and start-up of manufacturing or related facilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
