PT Maintenance – Hershey Country Club - Full-time / Part-time

This position is responsible for maintaining the efficient repair and condition of all assets at The Hershey Country Club.

This is a part-time year round position. The working schedule for this position may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Job Functions:

• Maintaining the efficient repair and condition of all assets at THE HERSHEY Golf Club
• Conducting maintenance and preventative maintenance of plumbing, electrical (up to and including 480 volts), HVAC, carpentry, painting and pool equipment projects
• Performing kitchen equipment installation and repairs
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Following all established safety/energy conservation procedures
• Maintaining a neat appearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable work experience in maintenance, including but not limited to preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and kitchen repair.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Additional Qualifications:

• Focus in the electrical trade is preferred. 
• By the end of the probation period, employee must be able to achieve established standards.
• Must be self-motivated; able to work alone where necessary; and work with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

• Must be flexible in responding to emergencies call-ins after hours.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must furnish own hand tools.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Required to lift 60 lbs. and shovel snow occasionally for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights of 10-30 feet and to work on a step ladder.
• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority.  Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
