The Market Engagement Manager will support physician and facility communication, engagement, and triage complex issues related to UnitedHealth Premium initiatives and related programs. This position will liaison to Network Management and external entities and will involve the communication of clinical content, program methodology, program process and analytic/technology methods as well as coordination of reporting and training activities to support these programs.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Solve moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analyses
Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks
Translate concepts into practice
Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues
Coach, provide feedback, and guide others
Act as a resource for others with less experience
Support physician and facility communication, engagement, and triage complex issues related to related to UnitedHealth Premium initiatives and related programs
Liaison to Clinical Advancement, Network Management, and external entities; communication of clinical content, program methodology, program process and analytic/technology methods as well as coordination of reporting and training activities to support these programs
Coordinates all planning, decision-making and communication about programs including enabling of and maintenance of voice and email communication, reporting, and ongoing report development
Direct physician and practice manager dialogue verbally and in written format
Serves as a clinical content expert and troubleshooting resource for all programs
Supports engagement efforts through program promotion, process description, and application facilitation
Works with operations team to identify and share best practices and opportunities for quality improvement
Conducts statistical / data analysis to assist in evaluation outcomes and cost-benefit of programs and related initiatives
Develops and provides training

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Prior experience working with reporting tools and generating effective reports
Prior experience with data analysis; experience with clinical data analysis is a plus
Proven ability to convey complex information to others and make it more easily understood
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change
Excellent phone presence, written and oral communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly with Excel 
Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree
Healthcare experience
Experience with network data management in the healthcare industry
Experience with claims processing or resolution
Broad understanding about HEDIS and other quality and transparency guidelines
Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as HIPAA
Strong organizational skills
Proven experience with performance under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent negotiation skills
