Leading manufacturer industrial products and technology seeks hands-on IT Manager to lead the management, maintenance, upgrade and ongoing development of the company's IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on, direct-hire leadership position with full benefits at an established industrial products company. This is a great opportunity for Inland Empire commuters tired of long drives to OC or LA. 
 
The ideal candidate will have the right combination of skills, experience, leadership and interpersonal skills to achieve company goals keeping in mind the organization's long history and excellent reputation serving the oil/gas, industrial processing, waste/waste water and agricultural irrigation industries.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for the ongoing planning and execution of information technology and related processes including managing, monitoring and supporting all IT functions, including phone systems, servers, firewalls, backup appliances, network hardware and business systems. The IT Manager also manages Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Major areas of responsibility include:

  • Business Systems
  • Technical Infrastructure
  • IT leadership, planning, budgeting

Minimum Requirements for the IT Manager - Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience maintaining and administering server computer software and hardware systems in a mid-size network
  • Management experience in leading a staff strongly preferred
  • Windows Operating Systems and iSeries experience
  • Experience with phone system profile setup - Cisco
  • Experience with managing an ERP system required. Expert with JD Edwards strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex work environments with shifting priorities
