Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, The Restaurant Kitchen Manager is responsible for ensuring we are upholding our commitment to Quality. In this role, you directly impact the ability of the restaurant to "Delight Every Customer" by ensuring compliance in the areas of service, production, quality, and food safety. You are instrumental in the restaurant's ability to deliver our core menu of high quality items, along with our on-trend menu of crave-able limited time menu options. You will mentor and train team members as you continue your path of personal and professional development.
Specific Responsibilities Include
  • Supervise, coordinate and delegate the execution of operations principles (e.g., POPDR) to ensure proper and effective positioning, product quality, service, and production standards are met. Analyze daily and weekly sales forecasts and work with Open/Close Manager to ensure proper ordering and inventory levels. Complete pre-rush and post-rush checklists for lunch and dinner. Use drop charts to ensure restaurant is meeting quality standards.
  • Take the lead in working with the restaurant management team to train and monitor employees in all food safety procedures. Ensure all food safety procedures are executed according to company policy and health/sanitation regulations. Initiate corrective action as appropriate and required.
  • Maintain safe working conditions by following all safety, security, and maintenance policies and procedures.

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 18 months or more of supervisory experience required
  • 18 months or more of restaurant experience preferred

Critical Competencies

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and giving direction.
  • ServSafe Certification and the ability to train in food safety procedures
