North West Central Florida company seeks CNC Programmer-Direct Hire position
Pay $18 - $30/hr, DOE.
1st Shift, 7AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday.

Duties include:
Operate and Create Master Programs on CNC machines.
Set up, inspect and produce finished pieces.
Create programs for non-standard type tools.
Work on multiple platforms.
Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
Mount, install, align and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction.
Modify cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs.
Calculate machine speed and feed ratios, and the size and position of cuts.
Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.
Confer with supervisors or programmers to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors, and to obtain approval to continue production.
Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished workpiece dimensions, or numerical control sequences.
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available.
Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements include:
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles.
3 years CNC programming experience.
Prefer training completion from Saacke, Numroto, Rollomatic, Walter, Star, etc.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Strong mathematical skills
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Knowledge of CAD software, CAM software, enterprise resource planning ERP software a plus.
