About this job
Established food manufacturing company is seeking an individual who is a detail oriented, bilingual, (English/Spanish), leader that has adequate computer skills and an interest in learning a position that offers opportunity.
The position is titled SQF Practitioner and is primarily responsible for all areas and aspects of the SQF team and processes, including but not limited to:
1. Conducting facility inspections to ensure that the facility is complying with SQF requirements
2. Completing and documenting corrective actions when necessary
3. Reviewing documentation for all food safety and quality activities (daily documentation packets)
4. Conducting/overseeing trainings and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner (monthly trainings and OTJ trainings)
5. Ensuring all monthly/weekly/quarterly SQF required activities are completed correctly and ontime
6. Identifying non-conformances and/or room for improvement in SQF System sustainment
7. Scheduling employees and creating goals and ensuring they are reached.
8. Working closely with the other departments in order to organize the processes and to ensure that the Company is meeting and maintaining all SQF requirements.
