-The paint operator will use handheld tools and automated machinery to load, unload, process and test metal components, move and label fabricated metal products. -The ideal candidate will be utilizing Prints, diagrams and company procedures in order to operate oven and automated machinery for required planned aluminum products and will be using knowledge of machinery operations, paint equipment, pre-treatment equipment, and engineering requirements.
Industry: Warehouse/Distribution.
Duties: -Load, Unload, treat and spray component parts to obtain required configurations for fabrication in cell or downstream operations. -Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders and or hand tools. -Load and unload, cover with powder paint components in flat, vertical, or inside jigs or machinery at the workstation. -Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits following the guidelines of State, federal and BOL policies. -Position and secure work pieces, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. -Allows for safe movement of materials and personnel by clearing floors and machines of debris using air hose, broom, dustpan, or rags. -Replaces used tools, parts, blades, wheels, guards.
