For Florida MENTOR and The MENTOR Network, the Accounts Receivable Analyst is critical to our success and

exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day.

Florida MENTOR is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to provide accounts receivable support and analysis for the

State Office and to act as a liaison between state operations and the Finance Shared Services Center. This individual

will establish and maintain productive relationships with key resources inside the organization as well as with external payers.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Works closely with Accounting Shared Service Center during month end revenue close
  • Develop understanding of Accounts Receivable processes from client data entry through cash collection
  • Become primary resource for Accounts Receivable related questions and issues
  • Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field or commensurate experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience in GL, AR related, preferably in a healthcare organization

  • Healthcare billing a plus

  • Experience working AR Aging files/schedules

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel skills required)
