REM Southwest Services is seeking a Program Director to manage the day to day operations of Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) in Canby, MN and surrounding areas. Progam Directors ensure quality of services delivered and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position develops and oversees the individuals served care plans, behavior plans, and program plans. The Program Director also manages employees, interviews applicants, trains new employees, and is in charge of staffing schedules.

Our Program Director positions are salaried positions working typical office hours of 8a-4p M-F with occasional evening/weekends based upon needs of the individuals.

REM Southwest Services is seeking a Program Director to manage the day to day operations of one to four programs in a community or small geographic area. Program Directors ensure quality of services delivered and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Program Director also manages, hires, trains and schedule staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in the human services industry plus at least one year working full-time direct care with individuals with disabilites or adults over the age of 65.
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state regulations, ex. 245d, ICF rules/regulations
  • Skilled in written and oral communication, community relations, and service development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of behavior management principles, program development, and monitoring techniques.
  • Must be extremely organzied with attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Must have supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with/understanding 245d policies/procedures, and/or ICF regulations/rules.
