Job Overview

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure quality standards are met while delivering a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Returns:

  • Assist  in maintaining  proper  inventory   levels  and managing
  • Cost  per room  for  labor

People:

  • Assist  in day to day staffing  requirements  and performance                                                                  
  • Provide  supervision, coaching  and feedback  to help team  performance
  • Assist  in education  and training  of all team  members  in in compliance with  hotel  standards   as well as all federal,  state,  and local  laws and safety regulations
  • Assist  with  deep cleaning   projects  and or assist  housekeeping  staff  during  high  volume  periods

Guest  Experience:

  • Inspect  all assigned   rooms,  linens  to ensure  all areas are clean  and in good  repair  to meet guest satisfaction.  Advise  team members  on deficiencies  and instruct/coach  on corrective   action. Provide  adequate  retraining   as needed.  Carry out the special  needs or requests   of guests.

Responsible  Business:​​

  • Perform  other  duties  as assigned.   May serve  as in charge  supervisor   in absence  of the Executive Housekeeper.

ACCOUNTABILITY

This is a supervisory position in the housekeeping  department. Typically supervising a number of housekeeping  employees in a limited service hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS  AND REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma plus housekeeping experience  in a hotel setting.
