AUTOMATION PERSONNEL SERVICES, INC of Tupelo, MS is seeking qualified and experienced Control Engineer in
Guntown, MS.

This is a permananent DIRECT HIRE position. The client will be hiring directly. Will not work for APS

Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position will be responsible to provide skilled technical and engineering technical support to repair, maintain, program and refurbish the mills electrical system and automation projects. This position will lead in the management of projects, coordination of work, and execution of work related to electrical maintenance, electrical engineering and automation. Major emphasis will be on analyzing and solving complex technical problems and identifying opportunities to continually improve uptime, reliability and performance of equipment. The Controls Engineer is required to work from blueprints and schematics and is responsible for the planning and layout of work assignments, estimate and order materials needed, and coordination of tasks assigned with the other group supervisors. The Controls Engineer is responsible for the safety and welfare of all members, process efficiency, and effective communication with the team. This is a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications:
University degree qualified (B.Eng) in a relevant discipline (Chemical / Process / Manufacturing / Electrical / Mechanical) with minimum 3 -- 5 years post graduation experience;

Training and experience in relevent continuous process optimization techniques;

Knowledge of continuous manufacturing process and variaiblity reduction tools and methods;

Ability to organize, plan and establish a routine of activities to ensure principle accountabilities are met;

Experience of delivering successful continuous process improvements;

Experience using data-based analytical troubleshooting techniques;

Proactive, questioning, 'get-it-done' atttitude; Basic engineering understanding of maintenance activities;

Demonstrate ability to co-operate with leadership team, and operational and maintenance staff;

Be committed and show high level of professionalism at all times; Communication skills.
