Manager Client Development
The Manager Client Development is responsible for managing a strategic national Client. This position works closely with the client team leader and client team, the client, and Business Development Managers across the country, as well as other support departments and personnel to ensure that all Client standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Business Development Managers in achieving the Company income goals and Client sales objectives by ensuring all Client’s brand marketing and Customer strategies are implemented.
- Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within Client guidelines.
- Ensure all base authorization, new distribution, retail pricing, shelving, and promotional guidelines are met within the assigned markets or Customers by regularly reporting discrepancies to appropriate Business Development Managers.
- Demonstrate sales accomplishments and areas of opportunity by coordinating in sales presentations for key Customers and Clients.
- Sell business-building ideas to Customers through the use of syndicated data, (i.e. Nielsen, IRI data, Spectra, and forms of demographic data)Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume-producing merchandising at assigned Customer accounts.
- Travel up to 50% and Driving is an essential duty and function of this job.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 + years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, HQ Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales, business development and expanding market share.
- Ideal candidates for this role have prior experience as a successful Business Development Manager, HQ Account Manager, and/or Director, Retail Operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
