Description: The Apprentice Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting Maintenance Technicians in maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment within our automotive quick lube centers. As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician you will train alongside one of our Senior Maintenance Technicians and learn to work and develop the necessary skills to independently perform maintenance and repairs to facilities and equipment. Training will include hydraulics, data and security equipment, heating and air operated equipment, carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. During your training period you will “ride along†with your trainer, travel to the various job sites and have access to the tools you will need to complete the jobs. There will be daily travel between job sites and on occasion you may be required to operate a company vehicle to perform your duties.
If you are a quick learner, self-motivated, can work independently, possess some mechanical skills, and are familiar with maintaining buildings and equipment, then we want you to join our team!Requirements•Minimum age 18 years
•Applicant will be required to pass a drug test
•Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
•Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of construction tools, processes and materials necessary
• Possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to be a team player
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency/energy
• Basic computer skills
This is a physically demanding position which requires that you:
• Are able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat, climb, crawl, walk and go up and down stairs for extended periods of time
