JOB TITLE: Assembly Machine Operator

Schedule:

2 nd Shift (time will vary as seen below)

(3:00 PM – 12:00 a.m.) or (4:00 - 2:30 PM)

$12.50/hour

Temp to Hire

ACTIVITIES, AUTHORITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Load raw materials into the feeding systems.

B. Transfer parts between assembly functions as necessary to maintain a constant flow of work.

C. Performs specific assembly operations as necessary.

D. Performs in process QC inspections as required.

E. Unload completed parts from machines and onto carts or pallets.

F. Trouble shoot problems with assembly machines as they arise and lend assistance/provide input to Lead Tech. as necessary.

G. Monitor the assembly machine functions to ensure continuous operation.

H. Manage/follow/monitor the production schedule and provide feedback to Lead Tech.

I. Maintain expected level of quality, report any quality issue immediately to the Quality Tech. and the Lead Tech.

J. Maintain a safe and organized work area.

K. Adhere to all safety requirements.

L. Provide production reports/documentation as required.

M. Offer suggestions for Improvement.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

(1) High school degree and some college education preferred

(2) Previously assembly, machining center or CNC machining, production experience, preferably in automotive industry

(3) Strong leadership preferred
