Required Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Two years of mortgage processing, underwriting, or originating experience. Knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines, as well as mortgage regulations and compliance.

Education: Equivalent to a high school education.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have an ability to foster positive work relationships with people both inside and outside the organization.

Other Skills: Detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task and work independently to solve problems. Assist with a wide range of requests from several managers or loan officers. Excellent organizational, communication, and composition skills. Strong ability to develop and manipulate Excel spreadsheets; ability to analyze large volumes of numeric data to report accurate statistics.

Effectively provides project management, marketing, analytical and administrative support to Mortgage Loan Officers. Provides back-up support to Mortgage Operations when needed.

Position Details:

  • Location: Boulder, CO
  • $19 - $20/hr + monthly bonus (off basis points)
  • Direct-hire or contract-to-hire
  • Target start dates: 6/20 or 7/5

10% Responsible for accurate mortgage disclosures being sent to mortgage applicants

65% Screens incoming phone calls and documentation. Interacts with Credit Union Members, Mortgage Loan Officers, Mortgage Operations Staff, Mortgage Underwriters, & Real Estate Professionals. Manages the mortgage loan process from application to funding.

15% Provides marketing support and ideas for Mortgage Loan Officers to gain more referral partners

10% Performs other related duties as assigned.

  1. Provide timely, accurate, and confidential support with minimal supervision.
  2. Maintain a professional work environment and business-like appearance.
  3. Interact with new and existing members, and staff
  4. Keep up-to-date and trained on Loan Origination software, systems, guidelines, and job duties to provide support when needed
