This role will be responsible for developing and executing events that support T-Mobile's brand, business, and communication objectives forSignature Stores. The role will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, event properties, landlords, and leadership.
Minimum Required
  • 1-3 years' experience in developing and executing events
  • Cross functional work experience in a matrix environment
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Previous experience working on complex and challenging projects that include detailed logistics with time based delivery patterns.
  • Ability to think critically and react quickly and calmly in high pressure situations.
  • Passion, integrity and energy necessary to create and dynamic work environment necessary to deliver a world class shopping experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired
  • 6 months Retail experience in high volume environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, able to consistently meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills, willingness to accept and provide direction, ability to work independently while remaining a team player
  • Knowledge and experience with T-Mobile retail systems and procedures
  • Ability to speak another language (language needs can vary by location).

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify key event spaces and opportunities that support the sales objectives and KPIs of the store.
  • Leverages relationship with Corporate and local marketing teams to maximize impact of events that coordinate with regional initiatives. Develops a roadmap of events for the year.
  • Oversees event planning process and ensures effective execution of events. Partners with leasing agents/landlords to ensure all events conform to lease/space requirements.
  • Manages overall concept design, logistics, vendors and budgets to ensure events meet brand impact and ROI thresholds.
  • Trains and supports peer associates in staffing events and supporting customer conversations in the appropriate manner.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction at events and focuses on post business follow up to maximize relationships and secure referrals.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
