The Network Control Center Consultant provides incident response on all network, voice, and security services. This position will interface with all levels of IT to include, but not limited to the help desk, other network staff, voice operations, security engineering, as well as application operations, M&A staff, and leadership of all levels.
 
 
The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment, and look forward to a wide variety of technologies to work on. Experience in a large enterprise environment is highly recommended.
 

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience troubleshooting Cisco Router and Switch hardware platforms, TCP/IP, and industry standard routing protocols
3+ years’ experience troubleshooting Data and Voice circuits with knowledge of Telco infrastructure and industry standards
3+ years’ experience in utilizing industry standard network management tools such as eHealth, NetQoS, OpenView / NNM, HPNA, and other equivalent tools
3+ years’ experience of working in a large geographically disbursed network environment
3+ years’ experience operating in a NOC or Technical Operations / Site Reliability environment
3+ years’ experience with Cisco IOS / NX-OS, and related hardware/virtual device families (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus/ISR/ASR) or equivalent Network Operating Systems
Willingness and ability to work the 2nd Shift (2 PM to 11 PM) and one weekend day per week i.e. a Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday schedule
Willingness and ability to work onsite at various NOCs / Network Control Centers in the Twin Cities area as needed
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience troubleshooting Network Firewalls, Proxy- s, Wireless and Load Balancers
Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM processes
Experience with packet capture and analysis products such as Wireshark, Sniffer, and Netscout
Any Cisco Certifications are a plus (CCIE, CCNA, CCNP etc.), COMPTIA Network +
